About the Event
Winter is a season associated with rest, reflection, gathering, and nurturing. It is commonly perceived as a period for staying indoors, as the cold, dark, and barren outdoors may incline some of us towards avoidance. However, it is important to acknowledge that this perception of winter does not have to define our experience.
We invite you to redefine your experience of winter as one of opportunity, invigoration, and intention-setting. Our senses awaken us to the joys of winter: crisp sensations of breathing in the cold air, the smells of pine and cypress, the unique and interesting shapes, textures, and patterns otherwise covered by foliage.
Patrick Bryant, Psychotherapist, Mindfulness Consultant, and Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide, is joined by Cathy Eads, Certified Yoga Instructor, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, and Meditation Guide, to offer a unique and enlivening experience where we befriend winter as a welcome ally, rather than a dreaded barrier.
